Weekend Adventure
Back to the land of Blogging!! My hand is just about healed and aside from not having full strength in it I can pretty much be back to normal again!!
Here in photos is the adventure the girls had on the weekend.
Hubby was working all weekend, so I packed up Jo and a friend and off we went to camp. Friday night one of the campers found one baby raccoon all alone and she took it off to the wildlife refuge. The kids thought it was pretty cute. Saturday night the kids found 3 more. We told them to leave them alone until morning and if they were still alone we would take them in as well. By morning they had crawled to a nearby fire pit for the warmth and all 3 became residents in my trailer in a box until we could get them taken in. Jo and her Aunt fed them bananas and water and we kept them warm. All the kids had a grand time making collars for them (which we kept) and all 3 had names. If only we could have brought them home! It was a great experience for all of them and I have to admit, I thought it was kinda cool too!

I want to start listing my jewelry on Etsy and needed a light box to take pictures that show the proper colors, have no shadows and look nice. I sent hubby to the garage last week and with left over plywood, an electric stapler, some drapery lining and white fabric that I paid pennies for and some left over ceiling paint this is what he cane up with
I used some cheap Ikea lights today to try it out. I used both my DSLR and my P&S with the macro setting and it's going to take some practice, but here are some of the pictures I took this morning.

Ten on Tuesday
The topic for Ten on Tuesday today is 10 Favorite Things to do Outside.
Thanks to Carole Knits for getting this organized every week!
- Sit and Relax. There is nothing better than sitting in the warm sun doing nothing.
- Take pictures. Much more fun in the summer than in the winter. They both offer different photo opportunities.
- Knit. Small projects that knit up quick are great. Mittens, hats, dishcloths
- Quilt. I am working on a baby quilt right now and when it's not too warm the sun provides great light to see what I am doing
- Bead. I grab my supplies and a small table and create jewelry while sitting outside
- Eat. Nothing better than a meal served off the BBQ and straight to the patio table
- Sit around a campfire. 'Nuff said
- Read. I love to sit and read in the sun
- Visit. Get out the patio chairs, grab a beverage and catch up with friends
- Spend time at camp. This is my favorite thing to do and all of the above get done at camp!

Organized Chaos Home Depot Give Away!
I've started following My Organized Chaos. It is a great blog with lots of great information and tons of give aways and reviews.
Right now Tammi is doing a Home Depot Give Away and it's a good one. There is a basket of gardening goodies from Martha Stewart and a gift card too. I have the money spent already and I haven't won yet!!
So far I want this! Wouldn't that look awesome on the deck at camp???
This would be even better inside our trailer!

| This chair would replace the couch below! |
Since we bought this trailer in 2008 this couch has been slept on once and only sat on a few times. I want hubby to take the couch out and in it's place I will put the chair and a small table so that I can sit comfortably and quilt, knit, bead...and watch TV. It is very straight backed and not for comfortable at all!
The camping season officially starts this weekend although we have started already!!! I can't wait!!
PS The giveaway is open to Canadian Readers only..
